HD Homecoming-Milwaukee

Event date:
Sat, 07/08/2023 - 9:00am to Sun, 07/16/2023 - 9:00pm

Kin Britton will lead a ride to Milwaukee for the 120th Homecoming Event.  Departure will be on Saturday, July 8 with a return on Sunday or Monday, July 16 or 17.  Route/highlights will Include HOG 50’s in OH (Triple Nickel), IN (Lincoln Highway), MI (Tunnel of Trees and shoreline of Lake Michigan), MN, WI and a routing into Canada along the north shore of Lake Superior.  Actual routing is still being finalized but expect overnights in Parkersburg, WV; somewhere north of South Bend, IN; Salt Ste Marie, ON; Thunder Bay, ON, Onalaska, WI.  Will arrive Milwaukee mid-day on Thursday, July 13.  Departure will be on Sunday, July 16.  Passengers not riding up and back can fly into Milwaukee….non-stop from CLT or one-stop from GSP.  Probable arrival home will be mid-day, Monday July 17.  Priority item at this point is to get a hotel in Milwaukee if you want to be downtown.  The rooms are expensive!  I am staying at the Doubletree by Hilton Downtown Milwaukee.  It is walking distance to HD Museum where many events will be held.  After taxes etc, rooms approach $500/night and they will require a prepaid deposit of one night.  Of course, they’re less expensive options if you do not desire to be downtown.  As with Laconia this will be a Class A ride with both twisty country roads, interstate, highway speeds, probably inclement weather and the first five days will all be in excess of 400 miles.  If you are interested and want more details please contact me at [email protected] or 864-612-6602.

Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member.  All guests must sign an event release. Be aware, all rides and events are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.
