Dog Days of Summer - Chase the Shade & Beat the Heat Challenge for August

The challenge for the month of August is the "Dog Days of Summer!! Chase the shade & beat the heat!!"

There are 6 locations listed....for every photo you send me you will get one entry....get all 6 and you will get 6 entries!! I don't care if you ride...walk...fly...or hitchhike....you do not have to have your bike in the picture...if you can get your bike in the picture that's an extra entry but it's not required for this challenge!! The point of this challenge is to go somewhere cooler regardless of how you get there!! A lot of these locations may require you to get off the beaten path and get where it's cooler and off of the asphalt which is not ideal for a motorcycle!

The list is:

An ice cream shop
A covered bridge
A mountain overlook
A lake/ocean
A waterfall
A shaded picnic area

Now as a bonus.....take a picture of you....your location and a temperature  reading (use the weather app on your phone or the temp on your motorcycle) where the temp is showing lower than 80 degrees and you will get an extra entry!! Again your bike does not have to be in the picture!! BUT....the picture of you and your location HAS to be outside NOT inside where the temp is controlled!! Can anyone find a place where the temp is cooler than 80*????

 

Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member.
